Hi, I'm Dan.
With more than 20 years of experience in senior care, I've spent my career helping families find the right place for the people they love. I founded American Senior Placement Services to bring that experience to North Alabama families in a more personal, independent way — guidance that puts your loved one first, at no cost and with no pressure.
My story & why I do this
Navigating the later stages of life can be challenging, particularly when seeking assisted living guidance. Knowing the next step toward suitable assisted living options is often unclear. Finances can be confusing, emotions overwhelming, and family stress may feel destructive.
My mom battled dementia and faced difficulties accepting her diagnosis. She was reluctant to give up her home, even though it was no longer safe for her. Living in isolation, her condition created barriers that made it hard for our family to provide support. My siblings and I wanted to care for Mom as she had cared for us, but we didn't know how to proceed. We needed compassionate family support to understand our situation and explore the senior placement services available to us.
